FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • How can I book my stay at the farmhouse?
    You can book your stay on the Airbnb site, or contact the Wade family directly.
  • How many guest can you accommodate overnight?
    Our Farmhouse can comfortably accommodate upwards to 25 people, with 8 bedrooms (13 fixed beds, 2 pullout queen sofa beds, 6 cots) and 5 bathrooms. For inquiries into if our farmhouse is suitable for a larger group, please contact the Wade family for potential options.
  • What methods of payment do you accept?
    Payment can be done through either the Airbnb site, or directly through the Wade family: Through Airbnb: Credit Through the Family: E-Transfer (Preferred) Credit / Debit Card Cash / Cheque For any questions, please contact the Wade family.
  • What time can I check-in? Check-out?
    We ask that you check-in by 3pm, and check-out by 11am. Please contact the Wade family for any inquiries or requests on checking in and out.
  • Can I cancel my booking?
    If your travel plans change and you must cancel your booking, please do so through the Airbnb site if booked through there, or contact the Wade family directly. Refund stipulations: 30 days* before check-in: Full refund Fewer than 30 days before check-in: Partial refund 7 days prior to check-in: No refund * If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, and at least 14 days before check-in.
  • Should I bring my own linens?
    We do provide linens for your stay, however, with larger bookings, pricing can be reduced if linens are supplied by the group.
  • Can I bring my pets?
    Unfortunately, we do not allow pets during your stay due to large horses on the property. Guests can visit the barn to say hi to the horses, but we ask that they wear closed-toe shoes and do not feed the horses. Small children should be kept nearby as these large animals require such a precaution.
  • Do you allow smoking on the property? In the farmhouse?
    We do not permit smoking in the farmhouse. Smoking externally is allowed at the front entrance only, and discarded in the receptacle properly.
  • Is there Wi-Fi available?
    Yes! There is free Wi-Fi available upon check-in.
  • Are there large meeting areas in the farmhouse?
    Yes! We have multiple sittings rooms, as well as two dining rooms, formal and informal, that would be suitable for large gatherings/meeting spaces. There is also a projector and large screen available for use upon request.
  • Is there parking on site?
    Yes! We have free, substantial space for parking available in front of the farmhouse.
  • Is your property accessible?
    Unfortunately, our property may not be suitable for you if you are a wheelchair user, have limited mobility, or a physical disability. Please contact the Wade family for any questions regarding accessibility during your stay.
  • What appliances are available to me during my stay?
    During your stay, you have access to an oven and stovetop, dishwasher, in-unit washer and dryer, two refrigerator/freezers, microwave, coffee maker, and barbeque. There are also kitchen ware and pots and pans readily available for your use. For more information on available amenities during your stay, visit our posting on Airbnb.
  • Do you have heating/air conditioning?
    We have an indoor fireplace and furnace (oil/wood) heating during the colder season. Unfortunately, our farmhouse does not have air conditioning, but each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, and we do provide portable fans.
  • Do you offer recreational trail rides?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer recreational trail rides, however, groups are permitted to visit the farm and say hi to the horses. Riding is restricted to boarders only.
  • Are you currently offering boarding for horses?
    Due to frequent capacity changes, please contact the Wade family for inquires about available boarding.
  • Do you host events?
    The farm does host different events. Please contact the Wade family to discuss the possibilities of hosting your event.
